Squarespace redesign for a Wedding Photographer
First Design Day:
Kathryn’s website was on the previous version of Squarespace (7.0) and was a template that had since been adopted by no less than 4 others in her field and area which made her site look too generic. She was wanting a unique site to match her unique and in depth service. Her homepage was not making the right impression either as she felt it was no on brand and had no personality or heart.
Since Kathryn’s main focus was her homepage, that is where we spent the majority of the Design Day time.
I set up a new site for her on Squarespace 7.1 and copied over her existing content and blog so she did not lose that. I fixed up any pages I brought over so it would be very easy for her to update as well.
Additional half day:
When Kathryn’s service added on videography and the partnership of her husband she booked another half Design Day to update the website to reflect the new service.
What we did on the Design Days:
arrow_circle_right Moved content over from an existing Squarespace 7.0 site to a new 7.1 site
arrow_circle_right set up the new template with brand colors and fonts

arrow_circle_right complete redesign of the Home page with beautiful testimonial sections
arrow_circle_right some clean up on additional pages that I copied over but did not redesign
event Duration: 1 day originally + 1/2 day much later for new services

The website after the Design Day
The newly redesigned Home page is full responsive and easy to update. It features a variety of testimonials and showcases gorgeous photography.
