Gennifer Rose is a lifestyle, fashion and travel blogger in California. She had a Squarespace website that she had outgrown and was looking for a complete redesign to show off her large amount of blog posts, photography and make it easy for visitors to find content.
This site underwent a complete transformation! We redesigned the site to make the categories easy to find (Travel, Lifestyle and Fashion and Style). To make the blog content easy to discover, I installed a filter that allows reader to easily filter content by a category, a tag or both.

The home page was designed to make her content easy to find by category and to easily see the latest blog posts (overall and by category). We also feature her shop on the Home page.
Blog category pages
Beautiful category pages were created for each of her main topics to make it easy for viewers to find the information they are most interested in easily.

Pop out Navigation
A custom pop out navigation was added to facilitate searching by categories and tags.
“It’s been a very short period of time that the new blog has been live but it has already increased one domain point which is great!”
The site includes custom touches that reflect California such as the poppy pattern and the California map featured in the footer and the About page.
