Sometimes the best inspiration for your business comes in the middle of the night! I woke up bright and early this morning and my brain just started turning over with ideas for my business. Eventually I gave in and just got up and got to work while the ideas were still in my head. I just wish it had happened a few hours later in the day ☺️.

Happy Monday! Last week I launched 2 websites and this is a teaser for the second website.

This one is for a historic wedding venue located in Virginia. The site was made extra special because of the branding that went into place for it. Seriously - these custom illustrations are amazing and set this site apart from its competitors. The beautiful custom pattern is used throughout the site as well.

The weekend brings some much needed "R & R". It has been a bit crazy in the studio lately with multiple web design projects on the go. The Christmas break was relaxing, but that seems long gone now!

I used to catch myself fitting in some work on the weekends, but now I try my best to avoid sitting at my desk. Even just sitting down there makes me think that I will just take a minute to "do this one thing" and then I get carried away.

Oops - always proofread before posting 🤦‍♀️. You know I meant “white” right? The dreaded “winter white” ☺️. ________ Recently I was at the dentist and she commented on how white my teeth are. I totally have to credit @rachaelsgoodeats for that. She shared this amazing natural tooth whitening recipe that has worked for me! I love white teeth, but can’t stand the chemical laden strips or other chemical treatments. This recipe has good for you ingredients and is so easy to implement!

Mix together in a bowl:
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 tsp numeric spice
Do not melt coconut oil! Mix until it forms a thick paste. Store in small jar or container.

I use a separate tooth brush as the turmeric stains! I brush with this twice a day after I have done my normal brushing. The bonus is that the coconut oil gives you soft lips!
________
It does not make any sense that a recipe using turmeric brightens your teeth, but somehow it works! Enjoy!
